Team Hailstorm is proud to present their second annual 3-man rookie tourney!


When: Saturday, Sept.11 Captains meeting at 9:30 (teams should arrive before then) games start at 10:00


Where: Hailstorm Speedball Field (Groening Farm)


Entrance Fee: $75 per team (includes air)


Paint: $100 per case (.05 per ball) field paint only


Prizes: 1st Place - 3 pair '04 Proto Paintball Pants,  2nd Place - 3 pair '04 Proto Jerseys,  3rd Place - 3 pair '04 Proto Paintball Gloves (Prizes based on 8 teams attending)


The field layout will be AIRBALL. Thanks to Paintball Paradise for loaning us their PMI field.

So if there's more then 8 teams there... Will the prizes go up.. Cuz i know that's there's like 12 guys in winnipeg looking to forme a team and go out and play mostly friends and **** but we would have 4 teams... So if there's say 15 teams what would the changes be for the prizes.. I would like to know... Thx

Prizes... For the rookie tourny if the base of 8 teams for the prizes would sayt jump to 15 what would be the prizes then... anything bigger. anyways.. Please reply back.. Dan

if we get more teams there might be a slight possibilty that prizes will go up! but that will be known on the day of the event, because we can not confirm how many teams will be there, unless people start pre paying there entry fees!


as of now we do have a "possible" 7 teams!

Hey Dan Deg....don't know where you're getting your information from but I don't think anyone has said anything about a buy 5 get one free.  As far as I know this deal will not be on for our tournament, and I have no idea where you would have gotten the idea that it would have been that way. 


As for signing up 9 teams...THATS GREAT.  Very excited to hear that there is so much interest out there for a rookie tourney like this and we all look forward to seeing you guys on the 11th. 


Oh, and finally there is no team list as of yet because no teams have actually paid registration yet lol.  Stick around paintball long enough and you'll learn that teams NEVER preregister (its really annoying because this means we don't know how much paint we need  ) until the last minute which doesn't make sense cause I would think the earlier you preregister the better because your place is assured.  As of right now we have about 7-8 teams that have told us verbally that they will be attending...hope that helps.

Sorry i thought that was gonna happen because in the other tournies there's like a special deal thing anyways. Could you let me the names of the teams and directions to get to the field from winnipeg. anyways. i'd like to know to informe the people that these are the amounts of teams going and such. anyways.

if you need directions to killarney from winnipeg you just take highway 2 until you get to highway 18 and then just take hwy 18 to killarneys its about a 2 hour drive, i will be in winnipeg and coming back on the 10th or 11th so if you need a leader for the pack we could arrange to meet somewhere were no one gets lost ;)

Even though we aren't offering any buy 5 get the 6th free, this is still the cheapest tourney that any paintball team will ever play. We are going to be selling top quality tournament paint (most likely evil), for only $100 dollars a case, most tourneys sell paint for $110 or $120 a case. Also the entrance fee is only $75 including air, any other tourney in MB you will be looking at anywhere from $150 to $300 for entrance. We plan on hosting a affordable (we know what it's like, we paintball to) really fun, safe tourney for players just getting into the tourney scene or just want a really fun day.


Thanx for posting Blizzard. Everyone else let us know if you plan on attending, the sooner we have confirmations the sooner a team list will be going up.

This is Eric from team vivid...a couple of us are interessted in coming in this tourny...but how many games r we going to play...is it like the cp one and you get 8 games? or how does this work

Hey Eric,


We will be playing a round robin format for the preliminary round. The exact amount of games has yet to be determined because we don't yet know the exact amount of teams attending, however it will likely be in the neighborhood of 8 games for prelims. Hope this helps.


 


Also we are at 8 teams verbally confirmed.......that means the prizes are guaranteed!!

This goes to the teams attending, if you could post on whether your team uses c02 or compressed air would be helpful. I have ordered extra compressed air and c02 but I would still like to know what everyone needs to help me out if I need to get more at the last minute.
