A5s and Tippmanns with response triggers will be allowed.(as far as i know) Just as long as there shooting one shot per one trigger pull. Hope this helps...
WOW lots of teams, KEEP EM COMIN!!!...lol last year was great, im hopin for just as good if not better this year.. lots of competition, lots of fun and hosted by great people and players :D
ok guys, due to overwhelming interest and not wanting to overexert ourselves, we have decided to cap this event at 18 teams. The first 18 to pay will guarantee their spot in this tourney.

well, I would say prizes could get better the more teams there are, but you also have to remember that only one team has actually paid so far. Paintball teams are notorious for saying that they're coming and then never showing up so until some more of these teams actually register by calling Jamie at 523-7050 and paying the registration fee, prizes won't be getting any better. As it stands right now, what we do have for prizes is pretty rocking though, and better than last year I say.

hey do you guys got a name? and are you serious or just looking to bring a team? as this tourney is filling up FAST, we suggest that you pre-pay your entry to guarantee you a spot in the tournament
well if you haven't played a tournament before then rules will be pretty standard rules just like the C4 except it will be 3 man. There might be other small rules changes as well but otherwise it will be a standard 3 man centerflag tournament. To give you an idea of the rules to a normal tournament here is a link to the C4 rulebook.
Any changes we make will be gone over in the captains meeting. If you have any other questions you can ask them here or you can wait until tournament day...its up to you. We will not go through the entire rulebook on tournament day though....if you don't ask the questions we will expect you to know how to play tournament paintball. Hope that helps, and remember if you aren't sure, just ask.
Matty.

that anonymous was me by the way and the reason were gonna get wooped is because weve only been playing for a while and by the sounds of it the people coming have been playing for a good couple years
don't worry about it hot sauce. Although some of the players that will be at the tourney will have played for a year or two there will be very few of them that have actual tournament experience. The worst thing that you can do is think that a team with matching jerseys and high end guns is gonna hammer you. Just because they have all of the nice equipment doesn't mean they know how to use it. Too many times I have seen one team think they are gonna get beaten the entire time and then thats exactly what happens because they won't even come out of their bunkers thinking the second they do, they'll get their heads blown off. Remember that this is a rookie tournament and all teams have little to no real tournament experience. If you need any help or pointers on tournament day don't hesitate in asking one of the hailstorm guys. We are there to make sure that you have fun.
Matty.

lol, no riley. It had nothing to do with you guys, I just remember Hailstorms first tourney as a 5 man team. There were so many teams with matching jerseys and we were scared out of our minds. After that tourney we realized that half of those teams were new just like us and there was nothing to be scared of.

Just a suggestion to all the really new teams...pic ur captian before the tourny, and think of a list of thing you want your captian to ask at the captian meeting.. theres nothing worse than hammering your captian with questions to ask as he/she's walking away from your table on his/her way to the meeting.
And if you think of any questions after the captians meeting just ask one of the refs, their always willing to answer questions!!
If you're coming from bushball here's somethings we luckily learned just before our first tourney:
Bounces don't count(i don't know how many bushballers play like this but i used to know a few)
Gun hits COUNT!! I know many have played a different set of rules but remember to tuck guns
Practise with the starting count probably something like: (Five second warning, 3...2...1... five seconds... gogogo) It sucks when u are all going at the wrong time lol.
No blind shooting(u have to look where you're marker is firing lol)
Make sure you know how to chrono your guns properly and make sure you chrono under field limit(if possible have an extra marker if allowed)
Remember barrel bags or plugs
Remember to pay close attention to the schedule-- don't get burned because u didn't show up to play.
This is the stuff when my team moved from bushball(no speedball experience) to speedball.
