2005 Hailstorm Farmball Series Event 1

Event #1


When: April 23, 2005  Captains meeting at 8:30am. Games start at 9am sharp!


Where: Hailstorm Speedball Field (MAP: http://teamhailstorm.tripod.com/id9.html )     


Entrance Fee: $75.00 Per Team, includes air/co2 fee for the day (first 18 teams to pay, first 18 to play)                                                                                                        


Paint: $100.00 per case (5cents a ball)  


(Day of event will be cash only.)                                                                   


Prizes (based on a 8 team minimum): 1st – 3 Medium JT SUV gear bags 2nd – 3 Empire Direct Effect backpacks 3rd – 3 Empire 3+2 Fast packs (with 5 pods each)


The top 3 placing teams will also receive free entry to the Buster Cup hosted by Paintball Busters in Red Deer, Alberta www.paintballbusters.com   I know that this is far away for most people but believe me guys its worth the trip.  Paintball Busters is seriously the best facility that I have ever played at anywhere.  Last year they had over $25000 in prizes for their Buster Cup so it would be an experience to remember.

Prizes were great last year....pants, jerseys and gloves...most Pball players need that stuff anyway...Proto or Empire are the most least expensive out there, so i think keep to that...if you want better, maybe masks (profilers or the new proflex)...or packs and pods. just my thoughts.

2005 Hailstorm Rookie Tourney

Team Hailstorm is proud to present their third annual 3-man rookie tourney!



When: Saturday, April 23. Captains meeting at 9:30 (teams should arrive before then) games start at 10:00



Where: Hailstorm Speedball Field (Groening Farm) http://teamhailstorm.tripod.com/id9.html



Entrance Fee: $75 per team (includes air)



Paint: $100 per case (.05 per ball) field paint only

Looks like lots of teams are interested...a few teams from Splatters and a few teams from here. i wouldnt mind seein them ninette guys there again, they were fun to shoot... :P

THIS JUST IN.......A SERIES PRIZE WILL NOW BE AWARDED.  THE SERIES PRIZE IS FREE ENTRANCE TO C4 SERIES 2006!!!!!!  All you teams looking to make the jump but still need the practice should be excited about this.  More details to follow.  We're still trying to figure out how we will be associating our 3 rookie tournies with each other and how the scoring will work so when the details get worked out we will let everyone know.

that is great that some of the teams from last year are interested in comin back.  a series prize sounds great as well, i know that there are some people here in Kenora think that we (Dirty Tactix) need to up our game, but i feel we need more practice. but next year, playin the C4 for free would rock :P  other then paint that is....

Just to let you know, Tournament paint costs are usual $110 or $120. $100 a case is a very reasonable price and yes it will be top quality paint. RP and Menace.

anonymous you obviously haven't played many canadian paintball tournies if you think that $100 a case is unreasonable.  Take into account that you split that money between a team (usually) and costs are pretty low for a paintball tourney.  Plus we're offering free camping on site, free air with entrance, and a series prize of free entrance to an entire series.
