Shocker with dynasty board

ok guys, the other night I had the pleasure of trying out a shocker with a dynasty board in it.  I had it with the eyes off and no paint, and the thing was INCREDIBLE.  I mean it was just insane, and that wasn't even as fast as it could go because the eyes were off.  Anyways danny, i think that you should look into getting one of these puppies.  They are really sweet.

Yeah,

I got shot with one with Dynasty board this weekend. It was about the same as a Frenzy Timmy. I love my shocker now that it is working but I'm not sure if I would get one again. Matt, if you decide to get a shocker, make sure you get a good one. Try it out first and make sure it's working. If it is, it will be aweseme. If not, you are in for some hellish trouble.

supposedly from the boys at .com, the shocktech shocker is the most amazing gun any of them have ever seen, it looks "MEAN" in person, and i guess its fairly fast, just thought that I would add this in here but honestly shockers are nice, just not a backmans gun :)

thanks for the advice steve.  The only reason that I don't have a shocker already is because of what you went through pretty much.  I keep on thinking too myself "well what if I get one like steves" lol.  So did you get yours all sorted out already?  I hope so, and if so does it rip now?

as for trying them out, well I'm not completely sold on the shocker yet so we'll see what comes up for a trade and then I'll make a decision from there.  I'm just not sure as to what I want but there are really only 3 choices anyways.  except for the shocktech shocker of course, that thing just came out of nowhere and now I have this super expensive gun on my list that I want and there's absolutely no way i'll be able to afford it.  later.  matt.

Matt,

My shocker is working now and it rips but it is not really any faster than my impulse. Yes I would recommend a shocker as long as you can verify that it is working first. Smart Parts had milled my bolt sleeve wrong and so it was causing drag on the bolt assembly. That is why I had all the trouble. The shocker is small, fast, light and looks cool. It is easy to work on the petuemics but not the electronics. Once you get one working they are kick azz but just make sure first. I would still recommend this gun cuz it rocks when it works.

"shockers rule (when their working)" exactly. The only way I would get a chockererrruhh shocker is used with all the necessary upgrades in place from a trustworthy source, otherwise they.......umm....let me think..... oh, right they do look really cool.

Matty Matty Matty. See theres one more thing why you shouldn't get a shocker. I've never heard of a timmy not working.

Yeah,

It was super easy to install and it is mother fast. I think you would really like the shocker Matt but just so long as it works. It is one of those things that is a little tricky to troubleshoot but once it gets going, it is awesome and does not seem to have any troubles.

It also lightens the trigger alot and the programming is really easy to do.

I guess the shocker boards have the microswitch attached directly to the board?? Does the dynasty board have debounce or any cheaterized ramping adjustments on it? Oh, what did you pay for it?? $200?

It has the inverted switch so it is a lot lighter. You will be surprised when you compare my new trigger to my old one. Also, it can go right down to debounce 1 and I was shooting it the other day and it was bout the same as WAS debounce 1 on a timmy. It changes the eye as well. No longer is it a motion sensor eye. It now just detects a ball in the breach and does no need it to drop like the other board. The LED is brighter on the back of the gun so you can tell that it is on and it defaults to vision mode so I don't heve to remember every time.

My shocker now has...

HE kit

Nasty X trigger

Dynasty Board

Freak Barrel System

NDz HALO no rise

10 degree vert adapter

So Stevo,

Would you recommend I pick up a Dynasty board? And how do you like the Nasty X trigger?

Danny,

Don't spend money on anything else until you get a dynasty board. Everything is better. You can actually see the LED, the gun defaults to vision, it is mother fast, anti first shot drop, no more eye problems not seeing paint, everything. That should be your next thing man. Go for it.

and I love the nasty X trigger but I think the dynasty one is just as thick. If you like em smooth like me then go for the Nasty. If you like the 2 finger grooves, go with the dynasty. I don't like the octane one at all. It is very close to the stock one. I hear that a lot of people like the NDz but they look gay. Dynasty or Nasty if you ask me.

Does the Dynasty board come with an eye? if not danny you still need an eye right?, why wouldnt you buy an eye and see how the philly board really works?

and i liked the nasty trigger, never shot one but holding and just pulling the trigger feels a tonne better than the stock.... alos bring you back to a blade trigger type day on the impulse, although i would like to see a roller trigger for a shocker

Yeah i'm planning on getting an eye. Once I get that working then i'll decide what i'm going to do. I definitely would be a fan of a roller trigger....we'll see.

Man,

Send your gun into Calgary and let the badlands tech dudes have a look at it. they will be able to tell you whether it is the eye or the board or what. And by the way, the Dynasty board does not come with the eye. It still uses the stock solenoid board and stock eye. The eye logic changes and it works like a reflective eye instead of a motion sensor eye though so that's nice.

And I hear that the roller bearing trigger from CP is awesome but if you ask me, it will be changing the microswitch on the board that makes the trigger lighter than the roller bearings in the CP trigger. I would invest in the Dynasty board before a new trigger. Come over at Christmas sometime and you can have a look at my gun and see if you like it. I really don't think that the roller bearing trigger would make that much of a difference after you have a new inverted microswitch.

Maybe we can swap boards and see if your eye works with my old board. Let me know Danny.

Later

Yo Steve, we'll for sure get together sometime when I come home. I don't know when but we can work something out later.

As far as sending my gun into Badlands Calgary, I think I would probably do that as long as they have better techs than mike in Winnipeg. I'm looking forward to trying your gun out, i'm super stoked that it's actually working and ripping no less.

I'll talk to you later,
